From May 11 to May 20, 2020, our school held a remote Open Championship by «Municipal State Treasury Enterprise ‘Regional Specialized Children and Youth School of Olympic Track and Field Athletics’ of the Karaganda region» among the trainers and teachers in athletics of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries in the long jump from the place dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War and the 1150th anniversary of the philosopher Al-Farabi.
7 countries took part in the competitions: Russia, Tajikistan, Germany, France, Bulgaria, Armenia, and Kazakhstan. The total number of participants is 23 people.
In the men’s individual championship, 1 place was won by Akhmetov Zhandos (Kazakhstan) 296cm., 2nd place — Kleev Evgeny (Kazakhstan) 293cm., 3rd place — Muravyov Vyacheslav (Germany), and Mkrtchan Razmik (Armenia) — 270cm. For women, 1 place was won by Dzolba Oksana (Kazakhstan) 253 cm., 2 place — Pronzhenko Kristina (Tajikistan) 250 cm., 3 place — Abuova Dilyara (Kazakhstan) 246 cm.
In the team standings, a confident victory was won by the Kazakhstan team consisting of Akhmetov Zhandos, Kleev Evgeny, Abuova Dilyara, and Dzolba Oksana — 10m.88cm., 2nd place — the Bulgarian team consisting of Teresa Marinova, Poly Mitova, Plamen Nyagin, and Ivaylo Lazarov-9m. 21cm., 3rd place — the team of Tajikistan consisting of Rasulov Jamshed, Alikulov Gulom, Pronzhenko Kristina, and Mirzoeva Munisa-8m. 81cm.
We would like to note that the 2000 Olympic champion in the triple jump in Sydney (Australia) — Teresa Marinova from Bulgaria took part in our competitions, as well as the native nephew of the two-time Olympic champion Vladimir Muravyov — Vyacheslav Muravyov who played for Germany!
